~CDB2 asked me for a picture of black costumed Spider-Man. As I began working on it, it hit me... I have never in my life of drawing comics, ever drawn Spider-Man! Ever!

Batman, Superman, Ms. Marvel, Power Girl, Captain America, Captain Marvel (both of them), Wolverine... Hell, I've drawn freakin' Sleepwalker! But never Spider-Man, and I have no idea why not.

I tried something a little different with the background here. A combination of CGI modeling with digital painting to give it a "cel look", so to speak.

So here's my version of ol' web-head. Hope you like.

Actually this was the first time I had drawn anyone from the Spider-Books... Which afterwards made me sit and think about how many characters there are that I've never actually have drawn. So now I'm making an list of characters to draw in my spare time. I'll throw Mayday on the "to do" list. =)
