Commissioned by ~Twinsnake-Coatl of his OC. Wasn't sure how the whole reflection thing was going to work out, but I think it turned out nicely.
Some of you might be wondering what took so long between this commission and the Christmas one? Well, let me put it this way. This one should have been posted about a week ago, but hey hey! Guess who got to spend New Years struck down with a double whammy of the flu AND the stomach flu? (To the point I thought it was food poisoning for a while there.) Oh yeah, loads of fun. I literally did not touch my computer for like... three days. Any onlining I did was from my Kindle Fire on my bed.
Anyway, I'm on my feet again and I can get back to work here.
love the composition of the picture, that a very nice touch adding the foreground and then framing the rest..giving it a story to tell . i been to the gym a couple of time and everyone is looking at them self in the mirror all the time! maybe it just the guys!! lol
Man, I had actually forgotten about this one. I've ordered plenty of commissions this past month, I guess a couple were bound to skip my mind.
Jennifer looks amazing here. I like the reflection concept, and the way the actual Jen is positioned outside the frame is a cool touch. I don't know how often people working out do look at themselves in the mirror; still, I'm getting the idea of adding a bit of vanity to her personality.
As for the piece great job!
